Horizon Europe funding – Update from the NICP Network @ Virtual webinar
Jan 29 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Northern Ireland academics and companies have secured >€95.M through almost 300 collaborative research and innovation projects and fellowships under the Horizon 2020 programme, which is now at an end.

The UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement has paved the way towards UK association to the forthcoming Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme (2021-2027). Once confirmed, that would secure access to the programme for NI scientists, researchers and businesses on equivalent terms as organisations in EU countries. Ahead of the official launch of Horizon Europe, this webinar from the NICP network will help make local stakeholders aware of the forthcoming opportunities.

The webinar will be delivered using the ‘Zoom‘ online conference facility and registration via this link is mandatory for participation: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_u2vlEWQETve26tfZdqVJiw

You should receive confirmation of participation with joining instructions directly via Zoom once your details have been entered.

The agenda will consist of an introduction to the overall structure and novelties of Horizon Europe, the latest on UK association and the supports available through the NICP network.

Feel free to send any questions in advance to

A more in-depth session is planned when the association process is complete and full Horizon Europe programme has been launched.
