The latest Horizon 2020 statistics, which cover the period up to the end of September 2018, show that since 2014 there has been a total of 235 successful Northern Ireland participations in the programme resulting in a total drawdown of €75.9 million.
The average grant awarded stands at over £322,000 for each successful Northern Ireland application.
There were a total of 23 successes for Northern Ireland participants over the latest reporting period (6 June 2018 – 29 September 2018) worth a total of €9 million.
Significant opportunities remain during the remainder of Horizon, with a total budget of €25 billion still available for 2019-2020.
