Between 1 January 2014 – 30 June 2015 Northern Irish Researchers in academia, the private , public sectors have successfully secured €15.5 million in Horizon 2020 grant funding.
This competitively won funding was secured with the help and assistance of the Northern Ireland Contact Point Network (NICP). The Northern Ireland Contact Point (NICP) network, established to provide support to EC funding applicants, is funded by Northern Ireland’s Department of Employment and Learning (DEL) and Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI).
The NICPs are based at the Ulster University and Queens University Belfast and offer free expert advice to applicants to the Horizon 2020 program.
